Codes of Conduct / Forum Rules

The following is a list of the Code of Conduct that every member and alliance-member of xCGx has to follow:

Codes of Conduct:

I) Code of Behaviour:

• Officers and the leader should be respected at all times, but also the members should treat each other with respect and dignity.
  
• If you you have a problem with a certain member, try to settle it with him/her personally... if you feel it is serious enough please take it to the leadership.
  
• Unnecessary arguments and disagreements aren't tolerated and if not stopped after the demand of an officer/leader, will have consequences.
• Begging won’t be tolerated, it’s not only annoying but it also shows that the beggar is not interested to accomplish anything by him/herself.
• The Guild is here to support you… not to carry you through the game. It’s ok to ask for help from the guild, but do not spam the chat in search for help, if someone can help they’ll let you know. Everyone has his/her own goals in this game… so try to find your own ways to reach yours.

II) Code of Language:

• Bad Language is not encouraged but understood at certain times, please to try to keep it to a minimum within the guild chat.
  
• There is a filter-function in the options… if you feel offended by certain statements just switch it on.
  
• Again if you have a problem with another member, settle it personally and don’t drag the whole guild into it.

III) Code of Honor:

• Once in a while the leadership will hold a council in which the future of the guild is determined. Officer/Leader promotions, demotions or other changes. If you, as a member, have been deemed worthy to take a place in the council, we will let you know. Any other attempts to rise in rank (flattery, bribery) or asking over and over again when you will become an officer will not bring you any further… on the contrary, will only extend the evaluation.
  
• If you feel that an officer or the leader is being corrupted in any sort, speak to an officer/leader of your trust and explain what you’ve heard.
  
• The Council is there to keep the leadership and membership in an equitable balance, anyone being unhappy with the council’s decisions will be able to have their say in the Council-Gathering.

IV) Code of Activity:

• If a member is unactive for 2 weeks an instant kick will occur.
  
• If an Officer is unactive for 1 week, he/she will get demoted, the regular kick from the guild will occur when he/she hits 2 weeks.
  
• The 2 rules above will lose their power if that member has left a note of absence or let the Officer/Leader know, for example if he/she is on holiday or any other reasons.

Forum Rules:

1) Rules of Behaviour:

• It is asked that you keep your messages informative and substantial, useful and friendly. Posting short, pointless, annoying messages or simply posting the same thing over and over, is not tolerated and will result in the posts being deleted and/or other disciplinary actions. Do not post exploits, disrespectful or abusive messages or attempts to hack or scam.
  
• Any dispute between two or more members is to be kept off the forum... it is expected that members handle their issues privately or they may consult with an officer/leader for advice and/or problem-solution.

More Codes/Rules can be added if the need occurs
